Namman Muay originated in 1960 in Thailand. At first, it was used by Thai Boxers (Muay Thai) who are known as fierce athletes. They used it before or during training and matches.
Rubbing muscles with Namman Muay can prepare the body for extreme activity and help to prevent injury. Namman Muay is the only kind of liniment in Thailand that possesses these unique characteristics.
The body will be ready for physical exertion after applying and rubbing the muscles with Namman Muay. The benefit of Namman Muay were learned mouth to mouth, from the Thai boxers to their relatives and athletes of other kinds of sports such as basketball, soccer, track and field, etc.

+ My shins had a bunch of bruises from kicking the bag. With this stuff the bruises barely even hurt and seem to fade faster. Works best after a hot shower. Also has a very potent mentholated smell that helps me breath easier if I use it before shadowboxing and other cardio. This product is a requirement for any Muay Thai practitioner. I even saw a bottle in a picture of Tony Jaa's private gym.
+ First off, I am a student of Muay Thai. I end up hurting a LOT after some practices. I was recommended this ointment, and I have to say it is worth every penny you spend. The smell is wonderful (as a woman I tend to care about this stuff), and it takes the pain away instantly. I use it before and after training, and my muscles thank me for it. I highly recommend this product! Plus, the seller is fast and packages the materials very well. 10/10!
+ I use this before training krav maga, and muy thai. For muscle injuries and soreness nothing works better. I also have used bio freeze and cats claw and this liniment works better than they do. Also on a cold day it wakes you up for training, apply pre workout.
+ I was recommended this product from a muay boran instructor out in California. I was a bit skeptical at first but he was 100% right, this stuff is perfect for post-training bruises/soreness. Used after a nice shower, the liniment creates an intense warming sensation and feels fantastic. I've used other liniments such as dit da jow which was what my family who hails from China uses. However, the jow doesn't smell nearly as nice as this thai liniment. Oh, and for people like me who weren't sure exactly how much 120 ccs of liniment looks like; don't worry it is enough. It's about half the height and about the same diameter of a can of shaving creme. I've been using it for a few weeks now and I've barely made a dent. Oh and having the package shipped directly from Thailand was a bonus!
+ Unlike the other sports rubs, this is a liquid that absorbs fairly fast, and you must get used to working it in, or have a partner help. When it penetrates, it gives a nice tingle similar to Ben-Gay or any of the other popular sportscreme-in-a-tube. Thai boxers use this stuff every day, and it helps them alleviate sore muscles, joints, and the like. If you have not seen Thai boxers in action, just YouTube "Muay Thai" to see an intense, demanding sport. I have used it on my calves (when I started jumping rope again) and my trapezius (when I started using a neck developer). You will only need a small splash, about the size of a half-dollar coin, and work it in thoroughly. It's pricey, but it does work well, whereas the sportscremes you get at the local drugstore only seem to make you smell like sportscreme...and nothing else.
